Greenman Energy’s charging network has now exceeded €1.5 million in cumulative revenue, up from the c.€1.3 million milestone reported earlier this summer.

The growth is coming from two directions: an EV hyper-charger footprint that is expanding across Greenman OPEN’s portfolio, and a steadily growing base of customers charging directly through SPARK, the mobile app GME launched in June. Neither on its own would move the number this quickly – together, they’re doing exactly what the network was designed to do.

The timing of this milestone aligns with a shift in the German EV market. For the first time since subsidies ended, private buyers – not corporate fleets – are now the ones driving growth, with private BEV registrations up 85% year-on-year as of April this year. That’s precisely the audience GME’s network is built for: everyday drivers charging where they already shop.

It’s also a useful early proof point for where this is heading. GME previously set a target of around €3m in revenue for 2027. Passing €1.5m with several months of the year still to run keeps that target in clear reach, rather than requiring a late surge to get there.
