Potager Farm’s sales this year have already come close to matching the whole of 2025’s sales total – with several months still to go.
Part of that is a single, concentrated example of what direct retail can look like at pace. Within eight weeks, Potager Farm sold almost 2,000 plants directly into one grocery store’s shelves. That’s not a slow, steady trickle of stock – it’s evidence that when a retailer commits real shelf space to Potager Farm’s range, meaningful volume follows quickly.
Field-grown fruit and vegetables across Europe are under real pressure this year, with heatwaves and drought squeezing harvests and pushing prices up – French courgette prices were up 32% year-on-year in July, tomatoes up 31%, and food producers are now warning of further increases into 2027. Grown indoors under controlled conditions, Potager Farm’s herbs aren’t exposed to any of that – something retailers searching for reliable, consistent supply are increasingly likely to notice.
Set against the pace of the year so far, it’s a strong early signal. If the current growth rate holds, Potager Farm is on track to close out 2026 having sold more than in any previous year – a business finding its footing not just with consumers, but with the retailers who decide how much shelf space it gets.
